Santaquin man among two killed in I-15 crash Tuesday
A Santaquin man was one of two people killed in a fatal crash on Interstate 15 in Payson on Tuesday evening. Christopher Suiter, 50, was driving south in a Jeep when a blue Kia heading north went over the cable barrier, became airborne and struck the Jeep, according to the Utah Highway Patrol. Suiter and the Kia driver, Riley Durst, 19, of Draper, were both killed instantly, UHP reported. It is unknown why the Kia went airborne into oncoming traffic.
