Alpine School District to hold public hearing for proposed property tax increase
Some Utah County residents may be subjected to forking out more money in taxes for their home or business as the Alpine School District is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. According to the notice of a public hearing on the district’s website, the proposed increase would raise taxes on a typical home from $988.99 to $1,103.39 a year, an increase of roughly $114, and from $1,798.16 to $2,006.16 a year for a business, equating to an additional $208.
