The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released photos Thursday of the interior of its newly remodeled temple in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The church also announced a public open house will be held for the temple, which will allow people to enter the temple before it is rededicated.

The open house will be held daily Saturday through Sept. 28, except on Sunday. The temple will be rededicated Oct. 13.

The temple was originally dedicated in 1999, and the remodel included reconstruction of exterior elements. The temple's portico was enclosed, and the tower’s steeple now stands 10 feet taller.
