A place for BYU fans: Inaugural First Down Provo Friday sees strong turnout
The inaugural "First Down Provo" kicked off in downtown Provo Friday, a pregame celebration for Cougar fans the night before BYU football began Big 12 Conference play against Arizona Saturday. Taking place on the Utah County grounds at the corner of Center Street and University Avenue, it was a first-of-its-kind free event put on by Explore Utah Valley and Utah County intended to attract the fanbase to Provo beyond just the gameday stop at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
