Honoring the fallen: Provo first responders pay respects to Capt. Spencer Long during procession
Firefighters gathered on Interstate 15 freeway overpasses across Salt Lake and Utah counties Tuesday afternoon to honor Fire Captain Spencer Long and his family. Long, his wife Katherine and their sons were killed during a flash flood in Wayne County on Friday, according to authorities. A procession Tuesday transported their bodies from the state's medical examiner's office in Taylorsville to a funeral home in Spanish Fork.
