Orem house fire leaves one person dead
One man is dead after being rescued from a burning home Friday morning in Orem. Chief Shaun Hirst of the Orem Fire Department said around 10:30 a.m., crews responded to the area of 1925 S. Terrace Drive on reports of a house fire with possible victims inside. Responders who arrived said the home had “significant fire involvement” on the first floor, according to Hirst. Images provided by the Orem Fire Department show the home engulfed with heavy smoke and large flames.
