Driver killed in fatal I-15 wreck, causing heavy delays between Lehi and Pleasant Grove
One person was killed in a crash Thursday morning that shut down southbound lanes on Interstate 15 for a portion of the late morning and early afternoon. Lt. Cameron Roden of Utah Highway Patrol told the Daily Herald the driver of a white Chevy Cobalt was traveling south near the Pleasant Grove exit when they reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to spin sideways. The Chevy was hit by a pickup truck pulling a trailer with a forklift on it. The unidentified driver of the Cobalt was transported to a hospital where they ultimately died.
