Utah County Sheriff’s Office provides update on man's fatal shooting by officers in Orem
More information has come to light regarding a situation earlier this month in which a man was killed by officers inside a home in Orem. On May 5 at around 11:30 p.m., members of the Utah County Major Crimes Task Force were serving a search warrant at a residence in the area of 400 North and 800 East, as part of a weekslong investigation into a man they reportedly suspected of drug distribution, the Utah County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release Monday.
