Are these women serious?
The LDS Church, so far as anybody can determine, has never had a woman offer a prayer during General Conference. And now some disgruntled Mormon women are complaining about it. They think they should be allowed to talk to God in public, too.
I don’t get this. I always thought assignments like this were to be avoided at all costs. I always took a prayer assignment as a form of punishment. So it’s no surprise to me that men are always giving the prayers at General Conference.
