More of Utah will be experiencing the deliciousness of a unique breakfast as Hruska's Kolaches opens another location.
On Thursday, the business opened a location at 11 W. Main St., American Fork, to a hungry crowd.
Kolaches, for those unfamiliar, are made with homemade dough each day and filled with fruits, veggies or meats.
"Starting out as only a fruit topped piece of bread in eastern Europe, the kolache has been transformed and stuffed with a range of different toppings and fillings to satisfy everyone’s cravings," Hruska's website states.
The dozen or so daily flavors range from sweet fruit fillings like raspberry or cherry and cream cheese to the savory with bacon, egg and cheese or chicken cilantro omelette.
At other locations, it is not uncommon for them to sell out of kolaches to walk-ins before or by lunch. The stores operate from 6:30 a.m. to sellout, Monday through Saturday.
They take special orders placed more than 24 hours in advance.
The American Fork location is the third for Hruska's, with its original location in downtown Provo, 434 W. Center St., Provo; and the other at 2030 S. 900 East, Salt Lake City.
The Salt Lake City location was featured last month on the Food Network Show "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" featuring Guy Fieri.
