Man killed in plane crash at Utah Lake
A man was killed Friday after an aircraft he was piloting went down in Utah Lake near Utah Lake State Park in Provo. The man was identified in a family fundraiser as Chase Day. Also on board was a female passenger, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital, according to the Utah County Sheriff's Office. Authorities said first responders were notified of the crash at 4 p.m. Friday and that the plane had just taken off from the nearby Provo Airport.
