Female suspect who allegedly threatened to shoot people near UVU detained by police
A female suspect threatened to shoot a small group of people near The Green Apartments in Orem before being apprehended by Utah Valley University police Wednesday afternoon, according to the university. Orem police reported to UVU police that the threat occurred around 12:20 p.m., according to an emailed alert sent out to UVU students. The suspect was seen at 12:29 p.m. walking eastbound in a pedestrian tunnel between campus and The Green.
