Nearly 10 months after Utah County entered into a memorandum of understanding with U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement, or ICE, to allow sheriff's office personnel to perform certain immigration enforcement functions, Sheriff Mike Smith reaffirmed his commitment to the agreement in a county commission meeting Wednesday.
